Meet Casee, our resident senior, (though don't tell him that). He is a 25 year old TB gelding. His racing career was brief, only until he was 5 years old, and has done a bit of everything since then. Casee is NJ bred and raced at Monmouth, AC, and Mountainer Pk in West Va. He has become a wonderful trail/hunter pace horse. He does not bite, buck, rear and has always had a wonderful personality. He now trains other green horses how to trail ride. Plus, Casee has saved riders we have encountered on bolted horses in Assunpink serving as a "barrier" or "other horse" to stop them.
He enjoys long walks or runs in the park, carrots, and spending time with the "ladies" of the farm.
He says, "You should always gallop up hills," and "If you scream loudly enough, eventually someone will answer you."
