Whimsey, though she may be a little thing, has a huge stride to keep up with the bigger horses. She is currently working mainly in dressage, but we do some jumping and trail riding as well. So far she has gone over fences up to 2'6'' and definitely can go much higher.
Jen took Whimsey to her first schooling hunter/jumper show with one of her students riding. It was her first show ever (though not her first time off the property) and those jumps were very bright and scary! But she got over her nervousness over the colors and their being different from our jumps at home, and came home with a 2, 3, 4, and 5 in the beginner hunter class. Jen was just thrilled that she went over all the fences without stopping. Yay Whimsey! (Not to mention her class was during a lovely heavy rain shower).
Whimsey's favorite things are trying to get the boys to believe she is the boss, bossing around Cowboy and Sebastian, and coming over for a snuggle.
She says, "Yes I AM the Princess." and "You WILL respect my authority!! Oh, not you Pippin....or Angel...or Stimey...or Pike...But you will!!"
