Who owns and runs this beautiful farm? The Strzelecki Family has owned and operated Rivendell Farm since December of 2003. We left our development behind in order to be more in the country areas of central Jersey, and to have our horses in our back yard.
Lynn and Stan are very hands on in the running and working of the farm. Though neither of them ride (Stan only gets on about 1 time a year), they love the feel of being around the horses and working with Jen to keep everything running smoothly.
Meet Jen, the farms' resident trainer/manager/instructor and all around horsewoman. She has been riding horses for over 15 years, has shown western, dressage, and hunters, and is planning on doing more this year.
Jen is a graduate of Cazenovia College with a BPS in Management, specializing in Equine Management, and an AAS in Stable and Farm Management. She has worked at a variety of farms, with many different types of horses.
She loves to train and teach, because she looks forward to seeing what the horse or rider can do. She enjoys the progress from point A to point B and so on.
Jen tries to explain everything she teaches and trains, and has no problem breaking it down to the basic steps to make it better understood. She encourages everyone to try horses and will be happy to answer any and all questions that she can.
